In a continued effort to do more touristy things to help our future guests with their choices on the island we went to Aloha Tower to check it out. This is and iconic place in Honolulu, this is still where the cruise ship terminal is located. There are shops and several restaurants for you to take in.

| Aloha Tower... wonder why they call it that? |

Jen and I decided instead of doing familiar places (Gordon Birsch, Hooters) we went with Don Ho's. After looking at the menu we decided to just get appetizers and we were glad we did. This place sucked. We got a pork quesadilla and teriyaki beef skewers and two waters. Our bill was $27 the quesadilla was the size of a tea cup plate and the beef skewers consisted of two skewers about 3"s long of bland beef with a little sauce drizzled over it.

Since our trip to Don Ho's I have found out that it is at least for now closed... something about not paying their employees or employment tax for several weeks. Maybe if they get new owners we can give it another shot... or when a new place takes it over we can see if the view is better when the Coast Guard isn't in town
